This glossary is built on 19,256 logistics terms published by Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (via the national public-data portal), but we don't just republish the raw definitions. We've separately curated the subset of terms most directly tied to real import/export practice — customs clearance, warehousing, ocean freight, and the like — and added practical usage tips and precautions written from a working practitioner's perspective, covering how each term is actually used on the ground and where people commonly slip up.
The goal is to surface the kind of practical context a dictionary definition alone can't give you — cases where the paperwork terminology and field practice diverge, or checkpoints staff frequently miss — right inside the search results. A. No. We're progressively adding practical usage tips and precautions only to the core subset (roughly 2,600 terms) most directly tied to import/export work. The rest of the glossary shows only the original Ministry definition.

A. Yes. You can search using just the initial consonants of a Korean term (e.g. 'ㅂㅅㅊㄱ') — handy when you can't recall the exact spelling.
Q. Can I search by the English term name?
A. Yes. Where a matching English name (word_en) exists for a Korean term, it's included in keyword search results as well.
